Liability law (insurance law), especially product liability

In the field of liability law, two different questions are regularly at the forefront:

• A product is defective. What must the manufacturer do?
• Does the company have a sufficient and effective product liability insurance policy for this case?

Through our expertise in both areas, we advise companies with a holistic approach: We clarify the existing insurance coverage. After an initial preliminary clarification of what basic needs the company must cover, we have selected brokers, whom we know personally, clarify the current situation without obligation if desired. If there is a need for improvement, the broker will clarify this in direct contact with the company.

Workshops

In a second step, we sensitize employees through workshops. If necessary, contracts with suppliers or customers may also need to be adjusted. An analysis of the most important supply relationships often reveals potential for improvement to make liability manageable or to create recourse requirements towards suppliers.
